Jonathan Schehr is a physical therapist in Philadelphia who specializes in helping people who have not found lasting relief through conventional care. His treatment style emphasizes hands-on, individualized care with a gentle, holistic approach designed to address the whole person, not just the symptoms. Jonathan uses tissue-specific manual techniques that target the viscera, fascia, nerves, muscles, and joints, along with corrective movement and breath work to support healing, restore function, and improve overall well-being. His goal is to help each patient better understand their body and create meaningful, lasting change. He continues to refine his skills as a teaching assistant for the Barral Institute’s Visceral Manipulation courses, where he helps support the education of other clinicians while deepening his own expertise. His clinical background includes board certification in orthopedic physical therapy through the APTA, certification as an Intricate Art Dry Needling Specialist, certification as a Barral Institute Visceral Techniques Practitioner, and certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Jonathan completed his orthopedic physical therapy residency at MossRehab at Einstein/Jefferson Health. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore and his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiological Science from the University of Maryland College Park.
